The beginnings of the Club

In 1920 the Sociedad Deportiva Sport Friend’s was created, which began to play matches against teams from Miranda and Logroño. The first elected president was José Cabezas and its first headquarters was located at 34 Manuel Iradier Street. After an assembly called in January 1921, the then president, Hilario Dorao, decided to change the name from Sport Friend’s to Club Deportivo Alavés.

The Spanish Lawn Center (CENEC), was born in Valencia in 2016, to become one of the reference meeting points between companies and professionals within the sector.
